Albert Ramos, Jr. August 09, 1941 – September 13, 2013Albert Ramos, Jr. passed away September 13, 2013 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Albert was born August 9, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, the first of four children to parents Albert and Katherine Ramos. When he was 14, he moved to Cocoa, Florida where he graduated from Cocoa High School in 1960. After graduation, he joined the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and was discharged in 1964. He married Patricia Lozar on November 16, 1974 in Las Vegas, NV. In his career, Al worked as a mechanic for Bendix at Edwards Airforce base, and Shade Foods where he retired in 2000 after 20 years of service. He was a reserve officer for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office and after moving to San Bruno in 1978, for the San Bruno Police Department. After retirement, he worked part-time at Skylawn Memorial Park until 2010. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, daughter Melissa, son Stephen, and brother David. He found enjoyment in fishing, collecting, painting; and old time radio shows were a cherished pastime. Arrangements were made by Skylawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Peninsula Humane Society or a favorite charity.
