Albert Chuck Kunze's Obituary
Albert "Chuck" Kunze, 84, of Foster City, CA passed away on Tuesday, May 10th at home. Born in Washington D.C. on July 23, 1926 to Albert and Viola Kunze, older brother of Robert Kunze (Pearl). He enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and was in Europe on D-Day. Chuck started his airline career in 1954 with Capital Airlines until the merger with United Airlines. Then moved to Cupertino in 1961. He retired from United in 1989 with 39yrs as an Engineer Technician. He was member of the Golden Gaters Retirees.He is predeceased by Janice Kunze, the mother of his sons, Charles and Gary.He is survived by Harriet Storti, who he married in 1985, his sons Charles Steven Kunze (Dinah Vieira) and Gary W. Kunze, stepchildren Patricia Romo (Hector), Carolyn Marchman, Harry O'Donnell (Leslie), grandchildren Aaron Gromm (Patricia), Adam Marchman, Anthony Romo and great granddaughter Amara Gromm. Donations to Mission Hospice, 1670 South Ampdlett Blvd, Suite 300, San Mateo, CA 94402. Funeral Services followed by reception at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo.
