Albert Bertoli was my Nonno. When I was 4 we went to visit him and my Nanna at their home in Petaluma. I was in the backyard playing when I saw what looked like a snake. I let out a scream and literally jumped out of my shoes and ran to the safety of my Nonno. I heard that story over and over, throughout the years. I later learned as an adult that it was a small lizard. He also called me his little monster. Love, Cindy Wright-Singh
