Alan K Farber's Obituary
Alan Farber, of San Mateo, California, passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 84. Born in Newburgh, New York in 1939, son of Evelyn and David Fruchter, Alan was an accomplished attorney, specializing in estate planning. He graduated from Syracuse University, class of 1961, with a Bachelor of Science degree, and completed his Doctor of Juris Prudence in 1971, from Golden Gate University. Alan was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), adjunct professor at Golden Gate University, and practiced law for more than 30 years, in San Mateo County.
He enjoyed golfing, spending time in the sun, and watching the 49ers and Warriors. Alan is survived by his wife, Elaine Farber, and children: David Farber, Marc Farber and Carrie Farber. He is also survived by his only brother, Philip Fruchter, of Brewster, MA.
