Acacia M. d'Aquino's Obituary
After an eventful life of one hundred years plus, Acacia Maria D’Aquino passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on March 21, 2017. Born prematurely on August 13, 1916 on the Portuguese Colony of Macau, China. Beloved wife of the late Carlos M. D’Aquino, She was preceded in death by her sons, Ernesto, Nuno and Mario and daughter Maria; Acacia is survived by her daughters Gina and Ann-Marie and her daughters -in-law and sons-in-law, Beverley, Bevley, Bill (deceased) and Carl; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and and a great-great grandchild. Acacia was the eldest daughter of a family of 11 and is survived by her youngest sister, Espe, her last brother-in-law, Arnaldo and many nieces and nephews. Acacia shared her gifts of love and laughter with every life she touched. She is and always will be greatly loved and missed by her numerous family members and many friends.Services at Skylawn Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 7, 2017 beginning with an optional viewing at 11 a.m and Service at 12 pm.In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to be made to your choice of; Macular Degeneration Research, www.brightfocus.org or St. Jude Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
