我們敬愛的母親: 鄭鳳娥女士，西元一九三五年農曆正月初一，出生于中國廣東省中山市東椏村。二零一三年十月初八(陽曆十一月十日) 在家裡病逝。三位子女，兩位女婿，十二位孫子陪伴她度過最後時刻，享年八十有一。母親西元一九五七年同爸爸結婚，居住在石岐鎮，育有四個子女，過著平凡簡單的生活。一九八一年全家一起移民美國，一直居住北加州斐士那市(Fresno)有三十二年。她為人母親，克盡天職，熱心家庭。平日工作勤奮，以身作則。每一位子女都歷歷在心，耳濡目染，個個長大成家或事業有成 。她幫助過每一位孫子襁褓提攜，照顧的無微不致，孫子們都印象深刻，懷念不已。她待人誠懇，熱心助人。許多接觸過她的人都稱讚她的和藹可親，溫暖親切。她一生勞碌，有著永遠不服輸，和不服老的精神。她非常勤儉，樸素，惜衣惜食，種菜種(果)樹，過著踏實，傳統的生活。一位平凡的人，有著不尋常的精神。Our beloved Mother: Mrs. Jane Ko (main name Fenge Zheng), was born on January 1st, 1935 lunar calendar, at DongYa village, Zhongshan city, Guangdong Province, China. She passed away at home on November 10th, 2013 (Lunar calendar October 8th). She had three children, two son-in-law, and twelve grandchildren around her during her final moments. She was eight-one years old. Our mother married our father in 1957, in Shiqi, Guangdong, China. They had four children and lived an ordinary simple life there together. On 1981, the whole Ko family immigrated to the United States, and have been living in Fresno, California for 32 years. She was a hard-working, enthusiastic person. As a mother, she was devoted to her children, led by example, and every child has been well-educated. All of them are either married or have their own career. She helped guide and support every grandchild, looked after them carefully, and treated them well. The grandchildren are eternally grateful and will miss her forever. She treated others with sincerity, and many people whom have had contact with her have praised her amiable, warm enthusiasm. She never gave in to old age, and always kept an energetic spirit. She lived simply in terms of food and clothing, but never hesitated in the slightest to show her love for her family. She is an ordinary person with an extraordinary spirit.
