Dears Neha & Neena It is almost a week since I got the news that Indu Didi has left us, but the fact has not yet sunk in. I distinctly recall the kind and comforting words she said to console me on my mother?s death, hardly two months ago. Her calm and composed voice during nearly half an hour long conversation that we had at no point betrayed the suffering she was going through and little did I realize that her end was so near. Beta, I know, no matter how hard I try and whatever I may say, I cannot help you get over the pain and suffering that the two of you must be going through right now. All that I can say is that your mother has always been a great fighter and it is this fighting spirit of hers which alone will help you to cope with the deep sense of loss that we all experience when we part with our loved ones. Love, Asha Masi
Dear indu, I saw the living expression of love and kindness on your face,in your eyes and the smile Inspite of the health issue you depicted a positive attitude. Dear Indu, You have always been a source of inspiration for me. No matter what the challenges were, you took them head on. You welcomed us when we moved to Fremont, cooking for us and taking care of little things. I could always walk to your house for a friendly chat, enjoy a cup of tea and reminisce the good old days. Your warmth, your smile, your caring ways will be greatly missed. You will stay in my heart forever. – Neelu RIP We love you.
Dear Indu, your smile, kindness, and love touched many, including me. You showed such strength and spirit, even as you struggled with MS. You will be deeply missed.
