I had the pleasure of getting to know Mercedes through her sister Brenda and her nieces, Jackie and Alexa. She treated her nieces as her own, attending their sporting events, cheer competitions and school functions at St. Dunstan School. I always admired the true sister bond Brenda shared with Mercedes. Mercedes was a loyal family girl with fierce love for her own. I feel blessed to have met Mercedes. My heart goes out to her family; her daughter and son, husband, siblings, nieces, nephews and parents. God bless the Palala family during this difficult time.
I just met Mercedes recently for the first time but I feel like I had met her years ago when I met her daughter Andrea. Mercedes had such a bright and friendly spirit that made me feel immediately welcome. The world lost a sweet and loving person but her memory will forever be shared through her children who carry her spirit and love.
We had a lot of fun working together in what was THE BEST Business Service office in Northern Cali Hospital @ Mills Peninsula Health Services.First on ElCamino then on to Rollins Road what a great group to be a part of what an honor to have known Mercedes and getting to know Pete & Pete. How proud Mercedes was of her daughter Andrea and her son who was then a student @ SJSU. Mercedes was such a classy and personable lady true strength and dignity exuding happiness and cheer thruout the office. Mercedes gone too soon…much too soon! We Love you and we will miss you!
What a great time we had laughing and enjoying “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” at SJSU!
I am shocked and sadden of the loss of Mercedes. May God bless your family during this difficulty time. Remember all the fond memories of her and will stay in your heart forever. My sincere condolences to the Palala Family. Always, Rob Lo Susiun City, CA
