In honour of our late Principal Shieh ? An eulogy from KKHS Alumni Association Today, May 26th, 2017, we have gathered here for the funeral service of Principal Shieh Fucheng to pay our tribute and to celebrate his life. As we remember him, his kind, endearing smiley face springs readily to mind. Like a dear family elder, he was very sincere, able, and conscientious in whatever he did. With all his heart, he devoted relentlessly to the overseas Chinese education. To his pupils he was ever guiding and encouraging to get the best out of each and everyone of us. His selflessness and dedication towards Chinese education had earned him great respect from us till this very day. Under his leadership, Koto Kinabalu High School had become a vibrant institute of excellence for learning and education. KKHS had also established itself as a reputable institute that most would-be pupils long to be educated. Under the watch of Principal Shieh, KKHS attained new heights in education and had produced numerous distinguished students. The love and gratitude held by his former students and alumni towards the school are beyond what words can describe. We, alumni are determined to continue the tradition of educational excellence, to carry on the spirit of our education forerunners, successive headmasters and teachers so to uphold the prestige of KKHS. To that goal, the contribution of Principal Shieh is both commendable and undeniable! While teaching, he would never overlook a single student. For those who had done well, he would give an affirmative smile; for those whose progress was no so satisfactory, he would stretch out hands of encouragement, give a pat on the shoulder and cheer them on. His students will always remember him as a kind and respectful elder. Today we mourn his passing but we will always feel his presence for his spirit will forever be with us. In honoring and for the sake of our highly regarded Principal Shieh, we will turn our grief into energy and help make KKHS an even better institute for further education. So, rest in peace, Principal Shieh. We will always, always remember you. Bidding you our final goodbye and wishing you journey on safely???..
