One memory I have is when Mom came to visit me and we went to Myrtle Beach, SC. As we were coming back to our motel room from visiting the convenient store, a huge rain storm fell upon us. Mom said, “Oh my gosh, I have never seen it rain like this before and it’s coming down in buckets!” We laughed and picked up the pace to get back. At that point..two minutes and we were completely drenched from head to toe. She couldn’t get over the powerful rain storm and that the rain was so “warm”. I know she loved Myrtle Beach, SC. And I know that she will still walk with me in those storms and sunny days throughout the rest of my life. I love you and miss you so much MOM!!
