Naomi Jeffries Kline

Dr. Naomi Jeffries Glasson Kline died peacefully Monday, January 11th in Castro Valley, CA. She was 95 years old. Naomi was a licensed psychotherapist for over 30 years. She was born at home in Warden, Louisiana, and relocated to the bay area with her family in 1939. She graduated San Mateo High School, San Francisco State University, and received her doctorate from California Graduate School of Marital and Family Therapy in 1984. Dr. Kline was in private practice in Palo Alto until retirement. Dr Kline’s engaging personality was cherished by all who knew her. Her regard for the arts were expressed by her devotion and participation in literature and music. She loved to read; however, she was not one to sit on the sidelines. She was an accomplished dancer, teacher, author and pianist. She loved to share this beauty with her many friends. Naomi had strong family bonds throughout her life. She is survived by her sons, Keith and Gordon Glasson of the SF bay area, her daughter Lisa Hewitt of Lincoln, CA, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandkids. Naomi will be laid to rest February 11, 2021 at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo in a private ceremony.
