Dear (Nina) Louise,Even though you weren’t my nina it just seemed right to call you by that name. I want to thank you for always being a wonderful friend to my mom in her rough times and welcoming her and I to your home in Glendale when I was little. I will never forget the time she put me on the train by myself and you met me at the other end. That was when I spent part of my vacation with you and you took me to Disneyland five days after it opened. I tell that story all the time. You were always so sweet and caring and what a sence of humor. A trait I will never forget. You will be sorely missed. God bless you and give my Tia a hug and kiss for me. My, “nina” (Louise), baptized me in 1938, when I was two years old, she was always a loving,Godmother to me. She was very sweet, and always laughing, and generous with her time a great cook, a good crocheter. she crocheted my daughter a beautiful coat and bonnet set. She was my mother’s good friend as they were teenage girls together. They remaind good friends until my mom passed away in 2010. They were both in their 90’s, Louise, lived a happy life as I witnessed. Now she is resting in peace, for which I am grateful, no more pain and now she can move freely as she would want to. She was very loved by all who knew her. I will always love my nina, and miss her very much as I do my mom. Beverly San Jose. xoxoxo##imported-begin##Beverly San Jose##imported-end##
