Kuey Fong
June 21, 1932 - March 28, 2022
Born in June 1932 in Canton, China he was the oldest of 4 children and immigrated to the United States in 1952, working as a dishwasher, bus boy, and US Post Office to save money for college. He attended City College of San Francisco, Cal Berkeley for a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, and eventually attended Stanford University earning a MS degree in Electrical Engineering and continued post graduate studies. In 1959, he married Susan Yee and would have three children Isaac, Kimmy, and Eugene and lived in Sunnyvale, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Los Altos Hills. He worked in the aerospace and computer industry for 30 years before becoming a college professor at the school he once attended himself, City College of San Francisco. Eugene and daughter-in-law Terri would have twins Ty and Kalea, making him a proud grandfather. During his retirement years, he would spend time with his grandchildren, travel extensively around the world, played golf, visited with old classmates, and took dancing and singing lessons.
