Joseph “Jayjay” de Guzman Jr was born on August 25, 1988 in San Francisco, CA. He was the youngest of five siblings and came from a big family. He lived his elementary years in San Francisco before moving to Union City, CA. He lived majority of his life in the Alameda County. Jayjay, as a child, loved exploring. He was fascinated with science and magic tricks. He loved playing with his older brothers, sisters, cousins and friends. He was always the sweetest boy, especially to his parents. Jayjay grew up to be an exemplary man! He has always had a passion for food. He worked majorly in the restaurant industry and customer service. He was excellent at capturing people’s hearts because of his undeniable charm. He later on pursued technical school and earned his certificate as a dialysis technician. Jayjay was a religious man with many talents. He devoted majority of his life to God’s work. He took piano lessons at a young age and that paved the way to the many significant works he has accomplished in his lifetime. He used his musical talents to direct and teach his church choir. He wrote compositions which turned into beautiful songs. He shared his gift of music by teaching others how to play the instrument. He had a singing voice so impressive! He also had an incredible gift of making short movies and skits which were utilized for church presentations and programs. He was passionate at teaching God’s words to young Christians. He actively participated in multiple church projects. Jayjay had a remarkable gift to make those around him laugh. He was one in a million. He is unforgettable. Jayjay was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, an uncle, a friend, a role model, and an inspiration. Jayjay was a valiant, true and faithful servant of God who successfully finished his race! He may be long gone but his great works will speak of him for generations to come! We will miss you our dear, beloved Jayjay! May you rest in peace.
