In Loving Memory Chin C. Chang (Ko Aye Cho) December 8, 1946 - May 17, 2021 Our beloved Ko Aye Cho passed away peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2021 in Santa Clara, CA. He was surrounded by his wife, Ma Nyunt Shwe, and his two daughters, Sheila and Nela. Ko Aye Cho was born in Rangoon, Burma on December 8, 1946 to Kwe Sean Teong and Chaung E. Than. He is survived by his wife, Ma Nyunt Shwe, eldest daughter Sheila Chyu, and her husband Daniel Chyu, and his youngest daughter, Nela Cheng and her husband, Joshua Cheng. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Naomi, Toby, Penelope, Autumn, and Lily. Ko Aye Cho graduated with Distinction from the Arts and Sciences University in Rangoon, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics in 1969. He then immigrated to the United States in 1971. At first, he had no specific profession, but was introduced by his friend to the field of Computer Science and Programming. He studied relentlessly learning new computer languages, and had his first job at NCA for which he worked there for 13 years. Then he moved to a new company called Expandable Software and he was the first employee at that company. He stayed with Expandable Software for more than 23 years and retired in 2008. During his retirement, he loved analyzing stocks and often watched business news. He also enjoyed the outdoors so much. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to various places around the world including Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Canada, Nepal, Taiwan, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Burma. He loves exercising and meditating and went to the YMCA Monday through Friday consistently for several hours each day. He made many new friends at the YMCA during his retirement and he also was able to reconnect with many life-long-term friends with whom he vacationed with often.
