I was sad to hear of the passing of Joyce. I hadn’t been in touch with her for some time. She was not only the person who hired and mentored me, but also a true inspiration. I had fabulous times with her as anyone who met and knew her did. Her passion for the SF Giants and the SF 49ers was infectious, and her love for her family was evident in everything she did. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

We have known Joyce for 55 years. We met her in 1969 when we moved to Half Moon Bay and joined the Cougar Booster Club. Later we purchased an RV together and had many enjoyable trips and “tailgating” at the 49ers games.
Our son Kendall married their daughter Janet and we have had many memorable family gatherings. We moved to the Villages in 1999 and Don and Joyce followed several years later. We all enjoyed many activities in San Jose.
