Margaret Barbosa was our landlord for 22 years and fondly remember her as a woman that loved caring for her building and did not shy away from sweeping and putting elbow grease into things that needed to be done. But above everything I will remember her conversations with us that showed us that she didn’t just see us as tenants but as as people with names and worries that she could understand. Margaret was larger than life and a true role model for her family on how to be successful and independent. She taught her children and grandchildren to be strong independent people. A true inspiration to all who met her! She also cared about helping the younger generation succeed. Everyone is forever grateful to her and will also carry her independence, inspiration, and love in their hearts forever. I will always remember her in her Cadillac pulling up to get a little pampering at the shop! Everyone wanted to sit by her and hear what she had to share. We’ll remember Margaret forever!
