It is a daunting task to try and summarize feelings of loss, loss of a dear friend! Dariush was a kind fatherly figure for me and my daughter. I will miss his infectious, hearty laughter, and his kind smiles. I am just beyond lucky to have had a chance to visit him and his family just recently. Over a lovely lunch gathering, I got to sit beside him and we laughed about his frustrations with me when he helped me during the sale of my condo. He had helped me so much that I had the luxury of forgetting the whole process. We also had fun remembering the many times Dariush and Helga picked up my mom (Vasti Veissi) and went out to dinner together. Their friendship was truly invaluable. May he rest in peace, and may his family find peace in missing him by knowing that he will always be with them.
