“Walked in to the Mausoleum to visit mom’s ashes. Super friendly face greeted me. Joel Strube was his name. He was working on the water fountain. I had a few questions and he was more than happy to answer them. It’s so nice to be able to walk into a place that may sometimes bring sadness because of the fond memories it brings and also the people we lost and how much we miss them. Glad it wasn’t all sad. Joel definitely put a smile on my face. I’m glad Skylawn has amazing employees like Joel Strube that go the extra mile to make the visit a pleasant one. ❤️🙏”

“I contacted Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park at the recommendation of my father’s hospice care team, not for an immediate need, but for what we knew would be an imminent one. After reaching out through their website, Tracy promptly followed up and first confirmed whether the need was immediate, as they have a separate team for that. Going into this, I had a lot to learn—it felt like a whole new language. Tracy was incredibly patient and clear, guiding us through the process and answering our many questions along the way. With her help, we toured the grounds (which are truly beautiful and extensive) both on our own and with my mom, which was especially meaningful. Tracy helped us put together a plan that matched exactly what we wanted, without pressure. I highly recommend her if you’re lucky enough to work with her.”
